Wauwatosa has two high schools, two middle schools, and 9 elementary schools. You can also find 4 Catholic and 2 Lutheran educational facilities. These are all in the Wauwatosa School District, and due to the city not being too large, they perfectly serve the population.

This area contains the regional medical center for Milwaukee County and it includes a medical college, children's hospital, and one of the two centers for level one trauma in the whole state. There is a public library, a city hall building, and an auditorium. This is a great small to medium sized city that has everything you need in it to be comfortable as you live your life with a family or on your own.

There are plenty of famous people that have come from this area. For instance, Devin Harris who is a professional player in the NBA started playing basketball at Wauwatosa East High School. And, David J. Wineland who won a Nobel Prize in physics was born in Wauwatosa. Singers, athletes, politicians, chemists, and more have all been able to call this area home.

This is a fantastic area to live in if you want to raise a family or if you already have one. About 47 percent of the population in the area, according to a 2010 census, are married. Close to 28 percent of those families have young children living with them so you know your kids will likely be able to find friends their age living nearby.

Churches and other common types of building are in the area, and chances are you will live in an area where it's easy to commute to wherever you need to go. This city is only 13.25 square miles and so you won't have to go far no matter where you live in the city to live your day to day life.

With these convenient offerings in addition to nearby recreation facilities and cultural centers, the Village might become one of your favorite destinations like it has for locals and visitors.
