Dave Curley & Pauline Connely in Concert

Both steeped in Irish music, dance and culture, David Curley and Pauline Conneely, two world-renowned musicians, will perform in a unique, intimate setting for the first time as an official duo here in Milwaukee! You will find this concert at the CelticMKE Center, 1532 N. Wauwatosa Ave., on Saturday, April 1, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 online in advance or $20 at the door. Click here for more information.

Armchair Tour of Galapagos Islands, Ecuador

Take a visual tour of the exotic Galapagos Islands in the South American country of Ecuador at the Wauwatosa Woman’s Club clubhouse on Tuesday, April 11 at 1:00 p.m. This is a free presentation sponsored by the Cultural Activities committee. Egg Day at the Zoo

The Zoo blooms with Easter fun - including colorful crafts, entertainment, and a parade. Regular zoo admission and parking are required. Saturday, April 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. More details are available here.

World Penguin Day

Learn fascinating facts and interesting adaptations of these intriguing, flightless birds. Regular zoo admission and parking are required. Saturday, April 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Bockbierfest

Various Bockbeers and other beers and soft drinks are available for purchase along with authentic German food. Music by the Alte Kameraden Brass Band from Freistadt, WI and performances by the Spielmannszug Milwaukee Drum and Bugle Corps. Tickets are $7.00 in advance (available at Rays Wine and Spirits , 8930 W. North Ave) or $8.00 at the door (under 16 free with an adult). Saturday, April 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Hart Park, Muellner Building, 7300 W. Chestnut Street.

A Pilates Mat Class

BodyWork teamed up with Paradigm Pilates to offer this Pilates class. The goal of the class is to help you increase overall strength and flexibility while correcting posture, body alignment, and reducing joint and back pain, and more. This class takes place every Thursday morning in April from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at 1502 Underwood Avenue.
