Ground Hog Day

On February 2, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Milwaukee County Zoo, you can join resident Ground Hog, Wynter, as she predicts the upcoming fate of winter. Regular zoo admission and parking apply. Once you enter the zoo, find your way to the Northwestern Mutual Family Farm.

Nothing Is What It Seems - Interactive Art Show

Five artists changing your perception of reality with their art. In this show, artists overlay extra content on their artwork when scanned in a smart device. The opening reception is being held Friday, February 3, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Gallery 2622 which is at 2622 N. Wauwatosa Avenue. Free and open to the public.

Family Free Day at The Zoo

Entry to the Milwaukee County Zoo is free for all visitors on Saturday, February 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Parking and other fees still apply.

Wandering Winemaker

When you dine at Ristorante Bartolotta (7616 W. State St.) on Monday, February 6, you can meet Urs Vetter, Import-Export Manager from Alois Lageder. The restaurant will feature their regular menu along with Chef Juan’s menu designed to match the renowned wines of Alois Lageder.

Family Night at the Library

On February 14 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. there is a special Valentine's Day session about neighborly love. All ages are invited. There will be stories, activities, and a craft. No reservations are needed. The Wauwatosa Public Library is at 7635 W. North Avenue.

Special Movie Event - A Man Called Ove

This is a heartwarming story of everybody’s favorite cranky neighbor translated to the big screen. This Swedish-language film is a gentle reminder that life is sweeter when it's shared. Tickets may be purchased at the Rosebud Box Office. The Rosebud Theater is at 6823 W. North Avenue. There are 3 opportunities to see this movie: February 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., February 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and February 20 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

A Pilates Mat Class

BodyWork teamed up with Paradigm Pilates to offer this Pilates class. The goal of the class is to help you increase overall strength and flexibility while correcting posture, body alignment, and reducing joint and back pain, and more. This class takes place every Thursday morning in February from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at 1502 Underwood Avenue.

Yo Mama! Storytime

If you have preschoolers in your family, consider stopping by at Yo Mama! (1349 N Wauwatosa Avenue) any Monday in February from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Children, up to 5 years old, get to create a craft and have a story read to them. They can also enjoy a small Fro Yo with UNLIMITED toppings for only $5.00.
